Interested in water aerobics? Join the Aqua Girls in the main pool Monday thru Saturday at 8:15 am.
Aquafit is at the Main Pool each morning, Monday through Saturday at 8:15. The classes consist of exercises in the pool with taped instructions and are appropriate for all levels from new to experienced Aquafit members. Come for good exercise, fun and friendship.
This group of artists work in watercolor, oil, acrylics and colored pencils in our Art Studio. Meeting days and times will vary depending on the medium.

The Palm Creek Bike Club is composed of the more serious bicycle riders. We ride three days a week, 30 to 40 miles, 12-15 mph. You must be self-sufficient and we require helmets/tubes.
We have both men’s and women’s teams that participate in inter-community tournaments. We have six beautiful tables on which to play. Mixed doubles play on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm in the Billiards Room.
Bingo is played every Monday night in the Ballroom. Doors open at 6:00 pm. Games start at 7:00 pm but you’ll want to come early to get your cards ready for a night of action.
Bridge is one of our most popular games. Social Bridge meets Tuesday at 3:00 pm. Contact Al Walker @ firstname.lastname@example.org. Duplicate Bridge meets on Sunday 6:30pm, Monday at 12:30 pm and Wednesday at 6:30pm.
If you enjoy reading, this is a club for you. We meet every other Thursday at 1:00 pm in the Ocotillo room to discuss books chosen for reading.
Bumbleball is played at the Tennis Courts on Thursday and Sunday at 3:30pm. If you have a tennis or raquetball racket please bring, if not we have extras!
Start your mornings with some exercise in our Ballroom! This combination of cardio, yoga and pilates is led by a personal trainer. We have classes most Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 am
This is a four-player game where you make bowers, or tricks, much like Euchre. Players use a standard deck of cards but only 4 through Ace and one Joker. Meets Thursdays at 6:30 pm.
Non-denominational chapel services are held Sunday mornings at 9:00 am in our Ballroom. Come join in the worship services.

Cribbage is a card game traditionally for two players, but commonly played with three, four or more, that involves playing and grouping cards in combination which gain points. Cribbage is played on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm.
Dance classes include Pattern and Line Dancing
Our Dog Agility Club meets January through March. Agility classes are held each month where both the dog and handler learn how to work together to make a winning team.
A game played by two to four people with rectangular 28 gaming pieces called domino tiles. Players take turns placing similar tile ends next to each other. This group meets on Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm.
Want to put your acting skills to use? Join the Drama Club. Auditions will be held in December for play scheduled in the winter. Rehearsals dates will vary.
This game involves four players, two sets of partners. Using a pinochle deck of cards, you bid on the number of tricks you will take, up to eight. The first team to score 10 points wins the game. We play Mondays at 6:00 pm.
We meet every Wednesday at 5:30 PM, in the Prickly Pear Room. This is an opportunity for groups of players to come together to play dominoes, pinochle, or any other game they choose. This group meets on Tuesdays at 6:00 pm. A second group meets on Saturdays at 7:00 pm.

Gourd art involves creating works of art using hard-shell gourds as an art medium. Gourd surfaces may be carved, painted, sanded, burned, dyed, and polished. Join us on Thursdays at 9:00 am to have some fun with gourds.
This game is a variant of canasta played in teams where you are dealt two hands. You must exhaust your first hand before you can pick up the cards in the second hand. Play and objectives are much like canasta.

We meet once a week and review 4-5 books over the season. Meetings include great discussion, videos, slides and field trips. If you enjoy history, you’ll enjoy this club. Meetings are held on Thursdays at 6:30 pm.
What about an old-fashioned game of horseshoes? Our club meets on Tuesday and Thursday mornings to engage in friendly games of pitching. Got good aim? Join us at the horseshoe pits near the Tennis Courts.
Our Lapidary Club is composed of artisans who form stones, minerals or gemstones into decorative items such as cabochons, engraved gems and faceted designs. You’ll find them cutting, grinding and polishing their pieces. Wire-wrapping classes are held on Tuesdays at 1:00 pm.
This low-impact sport is especially suited for seniors. Participants roll a “bowl” which is like a ball but with a bias, aiming for a small white ball called a jack. A 2 hour free lesson is offered typically 2 days per week in season which prepare participants to play in the afternoon games called Jitneys.
Grab those boots and come learn to line dance! We meet every Monday and Friday at 9:00 am in the Ballroom. Then put that practice to use on Friday evenings at 7:00 pm in the Ballroom.
Are you a Mac user? Are you interested in learning how to use your Mac more effectively? Are you looking for a network of Mac Users for support? This is your group. It meets Tuesday afternoons at 1:00 pm.
Mahjong is a game of tiles involving skill, strategy and calculation. Some say it is similar to rummy. Three levels of Mahjong are played Tuesday at 12:30 in the Sonora South and Fridays at 12:30 in Sonora North and South. . Western Mahjong is easy to learn and is an excellent way for beginners to get started. Lessons are available on Friday afternoons. The new “Marvelous” Mahjong card offers unique opportunities to create a winning hand and is lots of fun. The National Mahjong card is the most challenging but also the one most practiced players prefer.
Learn how to make beautiful Nantucket baskets. This group meets every other Saturday beginning January 14th.
Come find the song in your heart while learning Native American Flute in our flute circle. Join them on Thursday mornings at 10:00 am. No prior musical experience necessary!

This is the chance for you to learn and practice pattern dances – waltzes, polkas, foxtrots, tangos, etc. This group meets on Mondays at 1:00 pm in the Ballroom. Then put your practice into action on Thursdays at 7:00 pm in the Ballroom.
Pegs & Jokers is a game for four, six or eight players, using playing cards to move pegs around a special board. This game is played with partners and is akin to Sorry. The objective is to move your five pegs from Start to Home. Classes for beginners and advanced play. This group meets every Thursday at 9:00 am in the Adobe Room.
Much like Euchre, the objective is to take tricks. In this variation, we have three to a team. Try your hand at Pepper on Saturdays at 6:30 pm.
Our photographers meet every Monday morning starting at 9:00 am. Come learn about photography composition, techniques, and camera tools.
Interested in how to turn those good photos into great photos with software? Come learn the tricks of the trade. This group meets every Wednesday at 9:00 am.

Pinochle games are held every Tuesday evening at 6:15. Come join us!
Poker is played seven days a week. Texas Hold’em is played on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Omaha Hi/Lo is played on Saturdays and Sundays. Ladies’ poker is played on Tuesdays. On most days, the buy-in is $10.
Texas Hold’em and Omaha classes are held every Wednesday morning at 9:00 am.
Ponytail Canasta is similar to regular canasta but you use 10 decks of cards. The goal is to amass the highest points for canasta books and achieve the minimum requirements to complete the round before your opponents. We have several different groups that play Ponytail. Check the Activities Office for the schedule.

We have a very active Pottery Studio that will allow 50 people at a time to work on projects. We have all the potters’ tools imaginable, as well as white and speckled clay, and glazes. Stop by the Pottery Studio for our hours.
Sponsored by the Chapel, this group meets monthly to make shawls for the needy.
RC Flyers, or potential ones, we call ourselves the OFFA (Old Farts Flying Association). We fly at Casa Grande City field and Arizona City in the open desert. Our Sewing/Quilting Room is second to none. Come learn to quilt or work on your own projects. Bring your sewing machine or rent one of ours. We have monitors on duty to assist you. Generally, the room is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily, including weekends. Bring your sewing machine or rent one of ours for $2 per day. The room is stocked with irons, ironing boards, large cutting stations, cutting mats, rulers, an Accuquilt cutting machine and other miscellaneous supplies, including a cubby to store your machine.
The ever-popular game of shuffleboard is alive and well at Palm Creek. The Shuffleboard Club meets Monday thru Friday at 9:00 am at the courts. See their bulletin board for more details.
Our Silver Smithers have a great studio for creating beautiful pieces of jewelry from precious metals. Classes are offered for beginning students. Obtain more information at the Silversmith Workshop.

This group meets to explore new tools, techniques and trends in stamping. Make some fun projects, too. Join them on Mondays at 10:00 am.
This social group meets simply to have fun and enjoy the company of other single residents. They meet for coffee on Mondays at 7:30 am in the Bistro and then get together for game night on Thursdays at 6:30 pm.
Do you like Bridge but you’re not interested as much in the competition aspect? Try Social Bridge. Mondays at 6:00 pm, Tuesdays at 12:30 pm, and Thursdays at 6:00 pm.
Enjoy philosophical discussions? Our Socrates Group meets every Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm in the Ocotillo Room to discuss a variety of issues of interest. Looking for an opportunity to express your opinion and be heard respectfully? Why not give them a try one evening?
We have men’s and women’s leagues, as well as recreational ball games, on one of the best softball fields in the county. We also run several tournaments throughout the season, and also have a traveling team to attend outside tournaments in the local area. Enjoy a fresh grilled hot dog or hamburger, and let’s play ball! Our Stained Glass group gives instruction in the various forms of glass art throughout the season. We have classes in fusion, mosaics and foil. Classes are held in the evenings. Sign-up is in our Stained Glass Studio.
Swoop has become very popular, We will be playing on Wednesday afternoon and invite new comers to join. The game is easy to learn and is lots of fun. Bring a neighbor or friend or come alone. Any number of people can play. We start at 12:30 on Wednesdays in the Adobe Room.

We have three watercolor classes, depending on your skill level. Beginning students meet on Wednesday afternoons at 1:00 pm. Intermediate students meet on Fridays at 9:30 am. An advanced group meets on Tuesdays at 1:30 pm.
You’ll find our wood carvers meeting every Tuesday morning at 9:00 am. Stop by at any time for instruction.
Our Wood Shop is packed with woodworking hand tools and power tools that can be used to make or repair any desired wooden item. An orientation is required. There is a nominal $1 per hour shop fee.
Are you a writer with the desire to have your work critiqued and help others by critiquing their work? Join our Writers Club on Mondays at 9:30 am.
For anyone who loves any type of handiwork: knitting, crochet, embroidery, cross stitch, beading, needlepoint, handanger, etc. No classes are offered but there is usually someone to help out. We meet on Mondays at 9:00 am.
